- Drinking water (bring a reusable water bottle to fill up each day) .

- **If you wear boot size 47 or bigger, let us know. These sizes of boots are not available in Peru.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
You will be picked up early in the morning in our pickup truck, travel through the Andes and into the cloud forest. You will walk in the cloud forest a few times, searching for animals, led by your guide. Picnic lunch with a beautiful view. Arrive at the first lodge, near Patria, around 5 pm. Dinner at the lodge. Optional night walk.
Leave the lodge very early in the morning, drive to Atalaya, get in the boat before sunrise to visit a parrot clay lick. Breakfast on the boat or riverbank. Next stop: Machu Wasi Lake where you will explore on a balsa raft, looking for birds. Next stop: Hot Springs where you will enjoy naturally hot water surrounded by nature. Next stop: Nuevo Eden where you will travel to the bungalow by pickup truck, rest a little bit, and head to the camouflage house for the evening. Here you will be surrounded by the sounds and darkness of the deep jungle, and hopefully, see a tapir or other animals coming to the clay lick to eat in the night.
Head back to the bungalow for breakfast. After breakfast, explore the jungle and fish for piranhas. Back to the bungalow for lunch. After lunch, hiking into the jungle to a campsite. Part of this hike has no path and the guide will be clearing it as he goes, ready for adventure, always searching for animals. Chef will travel along too. Dinner at the campsite.
Breakfast at the campsite, then explore the surrounding jungle, looking for animals. Later, head back to the bungalow where you can rest, visit the town, the school, see life in the village etc. There is a small store in town if you want to get a cold drink or beer. Taste local fruits that are in season, visit with our family there as you desire. Dinner at the bungalow.
Leave the bungalow very early in the morning in the boat, search for animals on the riverbank and watch the sunrise from the boat. Breakfast on the boat. retrace the route to Cusco. Lunch either in cloud forest or Paucartambo depending on the time. You’ll be back in Cusco for dinner (not included in the price).
